The Doctor is dead.
There’s a story to be found here - in her eyes - in the parting of her lips - a story of heartbreak and sadness so devastating and deep that it no longer manifests in tears - it tells of lonely nights spent staring up at the stars trying not to forget - (trying not to remember) - and of all the countless days spent finding a way to save those same stars from going out - it tells of the hope and hopelessness of travelling through parallel world after parallel world - looking for the one being in any universe that can help - (the one being in any universe that she longs for the most) - and it tells of the despair of finally finding him only to be told that it’s too late - that all of those days and weeks and months- (years) - were for no reason at all - but it is a story of determination too - of resolve and never giving up - of knowing enough to recognize that this isn’t the end - that it’s wrong - and that she’s Rose Tyler and will find a way to make it right (via tkross)
wasn’t this the episode where he dressed up as a woman on a bet because he thought women were overreacting?
This show was progressive beyond it’s years
I got half way through the photoset before I remembered this is the one with Shaun in drag
I’M FUCKING SCREAMING OMGGGGGG THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE 90S TO ROMANTICIZED BY NON-90S KIDS FUCK
I feel like a legend.
Check out the list of the year-end Top 10 of 1994. ACE OF BASE IS ON IT THREE TIMES!
This was the year, btw, that Dookie came out, the biggest punk album of the 90s. Longview, the first single of Dookie, peaked at #36 on the Hot 100. THIRTY SIX!
Oh god there was so much bad music in the 90s. So much…at least the bad music these days is fun to dance to. Look at this list…it was like the highest form of popular entertainment was closing your eyes and FEELING THE FEELS.
